Our Garden Blog
This morning, in preparation for the school holidays, the Garden Club were busy harvesting any vegetables that were ripe and ready. This included some very cool carrots that were pulled out of the ground and made us all laugh with their unique shapes and sizes! The students also watered the worm farm and turned the compost so the garden will survive without us for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure how many carrots will make it to the dinner table, as some children were already munching on them for breakfast!

How great that veggies we grew here at school have ended up in yummy stir fry's at home! I have had mouth watering reports of meals made using our Chinese spinach! I think I'll have to pinch a few myself!
